  • I am an out-network-provider. Based on your insurance plan, you may be able to receive partial or full reimbursement for therapy services. I will provide you with the documentation you need to request out-of-network benefit reimbursement with your insurance provider. I will also provide you with a Goodness of Faith Estimate that outlines the estimated costs associated with the work we are doing together. It can be helpful to contact your insurance company and share the following information:

“I’m planning to see a psychology associate who does not take my insurance. Would I be eligible for reimbursement for these sessions through any out-of-network benefits?”

If yes, ask the following questions:

    1. How much is my out-of-network deductible?

    2. How much of that deductible have I already met?

    3. After meeting my deductible, what percentage of my session fees will you pay if the fee is $190?

    4. Where can I find the out-of-network claim form?

    5. Where do I send the claim form when I complete it?

  • That’s a great question - costs for therapeutic services vary by service and by provider. Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can expect from me.

    🧍🏾‍♀️ Individual Therapy:

$170 per 50-minute intake session (typically 2 intake sessions required)

    $190 per therapy session

    👯‍♀️ Group Therapy:

    $20 per 30-minute orientation session

    $45 per group session

I offer sliding scale options based on income.

  • Payment for the full session is expected at the time of our appointment. I do accept HSA and FSA credit and debit cards along with other major credit cards as forms of payment. If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged a late cancellation fee.

  • At this time, I am practicing virtually through a HIPAA-compliant platform. I aim to keep a close eye on the status of the ongoing pandemic and hope to offer in-person services in the near future. I will keep all clients informed of any changes to policies.
